The District Courts are a category of courts which exist in several nations, some call them “small case court” usually as the lowest level of the hierarchy. There are 29 states in India and 739 districts. In which almost every district has a district court. The names of the 739 districts are mostly unique. As of 2021, there are a total of 739 districts in India and almost every District Courts issued recruitment notification for various posts. Like Peon, Process Server, Typist, Stenographer, Liftman, Watchmen, Gardener, Sweeper, Chowkidar Recruitment, and other various vacancies.

The District Courts of India are presided over by a judge. They administer justice in India at a district level. These courts are under administrative and judicial control of the High Court of the State to which the district concerned belongs. Most districts have a distinct headquarters; but the districts of Mumbai City, in Maharashtra, Hyderabad in Telangana and Chennai, in Tamil Nadu, are examples where there is no distinct district headquarters, although there are district collectors.
